Itinerary Highlights
From our base in Azumabashi, the tour heads south toward Tokyo Bay. After about 30 minutes, you’ll reach Toyosu Gururi Park, a scenic spot beside the famous Toyosu Fish Market. Here, you’ll take photos with the Rainbow Bridge and Tokyo Bay as your backdrop. (Restrooms and vending machines are available at the park.)
From Toyosu, the route continues to Ginza, Tokyo’s top luxury shopping district, where you’ll drive through the iconic Ginza 4-chome intersection before heading north along Chuo-dori Avenue.
Along this avenue—the heart of eastern Tokyo—you’ll pass Kyobashi and then reach Nihombashi, the historical starting point of Japan’s five main roads during the Edo period.
Continuing north, you’ll arrive in Akihabara, famous for its Electric Town, anime shops, and gaming culture. After Akihabara, the route passes Ueno Park and JR Ueno Station, a hub of museums and cherry blossoms. Finally, you’ll cruise through Asakusa, home to Senso-ji Temple, before crossing the Sumida River with Tokyo Skytree in view, returning to the garage.
Note: Karts are equipped with bottle holders. Large bags can be stored at the shop or in the lead car.

Safety & Reliability
・JAPANKART is the only operator in Japan that protects groups with cars in both the front and rear, blocking traffic to ensure maximum safety.
・All staff carry intercoms for real-time coordination.
・All 100+ karts are insured (included in the fee), covering up to ¥80 million for bodily injury, ¥2 million for property damage, and ¥5 million for passenger accidents.
・Karts are street-legal and comply with Japanese law. Each morning, staff test-drive all vehicles, and certified mechanics are stationed at every branch.
・Thanks to these standards, JAPANKART is highly rated on Google Reviews and is the only street kart operator to win the 2024 KLOOK Award.
Note: Helmets are not required in Japan. Drive on the left-hand side of the road.
Why Choose This Tokyo Go Kart Tour?
Compared with other operators, JAPANKART karts are larger, sturdier, and smoother to ride, equipped with suspension and new-generation engines. All karts feature premium finishes in official Nissan GT-R colors (R32 Gunmetal, R34 Blue, R35 Shining Orange), ensuring they look fantastic in photos.
This Asakusa & Tokyo Bay course has been offered since our launch in 2017 and remains one of our most popular. It combines Tokyo’s eastern landmarks with breathtaking waterfront scenery. With long stretches of straight roads, it’s perfect for those who want to open up the throttle and truly enjoy the drive. Our owner considers it the most exciting of all five JAPANKART tours—so if you’re unsure which to book, we highly recommend this one.
