Your safety is our top priority. Each tour is accompanied by two staff vehicles to support the group throughout the ride.Depending on traffic conditions, trained staff may also ride motorcycles to help the group move safely and smoothly through the city.

Unique and thrilling experience, definitely one of my highlights from my trip. Staff were professional, prioritising safety and providing good communication ensuring we were well accommodated which I really appreciate as a member of my group was not able to participate.
Karts were well maintained and they provide a selection of outfits; onesies, costumes, etc and they have a toilet which was very useful. Me and my group had a fantastic evening with great shots during our stop overs. I recommend going in the evening slot as the lights were great around the city and a great bonus if its raining.

Seriously the BEST thing I have ever done and that too in SWAG. It was just the two of us - my son n myself . A day after the Typhoon here in Tokyo . Clear blue skies - gentle winds . A Pilot car and a car at the back . Due to public holidays hardly any traffic . Tokyo bay stop was the highlight . Go Karts were awesome . The staff were super friendly - great briefing prior to the activity which completely put us at ease. 2 hours just flew by like minutes - most memorable 🤗 . We owned the STREETS of Tokyo 🙌🥇

We had a fantastic time on a one hour tour. Japankart was informative, efficient and we had a great time. They prioritized safety with a video & demo of kart operations. Not only that, they both lead and trailed our group with company vans to ensure our safety.
Be sure to pay close attention: This is not a closed course. Do not consume any substances that may affect your ability to drive. You are driving in real traffic in Tokyo!
This is a sightseeing adventure like none other, and you become the center of the show, you will notice others taking pictures of you while you are admiring the sights. It’s super fun.
If you want to do this experience, make sure to apply for your international driving permit prior to leaving your home country, you will need it as well as passport and valid drivers license. Thanks Japankart!

Great craic. Weather was rain but it was during a typhpon and sure I'm Irish and usrd to the wet!! Staff great craic and they're english was impeccable compared to my Japanese !! Can't recommend this activity enough and the karts are an amazing drive. Dressing up as Pokemon was a lot of fun too. Just don' forget your international driving permit, driving licence and passport. Have fun people. Many thanks to all the staff appreciated the towels to dry off at the end.

Just incredible!! We did the 2 hour Shibuya and Tokyo tower tour. It was great. From the safety briefing to the end of the tour, we were really well looked after. The car that we followed waited for the lights to turn red to make sure we were always behind it and didn’t get lost. They took loads of photos and it was just one of the best things we have ever done! You go at some speed too-just make sure to book this on your trip to Tokyo! I would do it again!

We had an absolutely amazing time with Japan Kart — truly a once-in-a-lifetime experience in Tokyo!
We even went out in the rain, which made it even more exciting, and I honestly highly recommend it. Seeing Shibuya from a go-kart is such a wonderful and unique perspective. You get to experience the energy, lights, and crowds of one of the busiest cities in the world without having to be in the crowds — you can just cruise through and take it all in.
The guides were fantastic: so helpful, calm, and professional, and they took amazing pictures for us throughout the experience. which they share with you after via Airdrop/Whatsapp etc. The whole office team also made everything feel easy and welcoming. They provided clothes, glasses if needed, snacks, and even a helpful tutorial video that made us feel confident before heading out onto the fabulous Japanese roads.
There is nowhere else in the world where you could go-kart like this through a major city, especially one as busy as Tokyo. Yet Japanese drivers are so calm and safe on the roads that the whole experience felt seamless.
It was so much fun from start to finish. Don’t leave Tokyo without doing this!

It was fun. You'll have a good time zipping around for 25 mins but there just aren't enough stops. We stopped and got out the car once on a random bridge. So there just aren't enough opportunities to take pictures.
To be fair, they do have a chest mount you can use to record with your phone, but the experience sort of lacks substance.
No stops are explained and the two hour experience drags on. It will become underwhelming after driving through the streets after an hour, especially with regular traffic.
However, I would still recommend you do it for sake of experience. It was a good time and the staff are super cool. The one star reviewers are being harsh for no reason.

10/10 experience. Staff was very friendly and helpful. I booked the 2 hour tour which I really recommend. You get to stop at a bridge and the staff takes really cool pictures of you and the group. 100% recommend for a cool go kart experience around the streets of Tokyo.

Was such a fun experience. We did the 2hr Asaksa-habour tour and the whole check in, safety demo and the staff was so helpful and clear to understand. The whole experience felt safe and the go karts were in great condition. They even take great photos for you. Highly recommend booking with them!

Love this. Definitely a to do in Tokyo! You will need to register and apply for a temporary permit while in ur country and book b4 u leave. It was more like a guided drive on main streets in Tokyo for 2hrs....we'll worth the money. We got to choose our costumes, even if u dont want to wear them do it or ull be cold. Fun and very reasonable price!

I've seen my fair share of posts denouncing the go-karting experience as being a nuisance to residents/locals and dangerous overall, so it was with some apprehension and guilt that I booked this experience. However, I now believe that the tour guide/company lead is essential in shaping the experience for both drivers and onlookers. Japankart's staff takes safety as one of their highest priorities, and the entire experience was made all the better for it. We were given the opportunity to stop at Tokyo Bay for photos, and it was a pleasant surprise to see many locals and other tourists smile and wave at us when we came to a stop at stoplights.
All in all, highly recommended experience. The go-kart mechanisms are fairly straightforward, and the staff gives a through demonstration prior to your setting out. Just do not forget to get your international driving permit/documentation before coming to Japan!

I had an amazing time doing the go-kart tour in downtown Tokyo! The whole experience was the perfect mix of safe and adventurous. I got to dress up in a hilarious full costume — I wore a giant stuffed fish head — and it was so cute! People on the street were smiling, waving, and taking pictures as we zoomed by.
The staff were super friendly and made sure everything felt safe and well-organized, but still tons of fun. Seeing Tokyo from street level in a go-kart, surrounded by lights and laughter, was such a unique way to experience the city.
